The training of primary school students’ emergency response ability is an inevitable requirement to promote their all-round development and is very important to their life safety and the sustainable and stable development of society.Young Pioneers activities with its distinctive theme,diverse organizational forms,lively activities are deeply loved by primary school students.This kind of colorful collective activity is an important carrier and effective path to cultivate primary school students’ emergency response ability.However,at present,there are few topics on the training of disaster emergency ability through the young pioneers.In the daily educational practice,the activities of the young pioneers rarely give full play to their unique advantages and carry out appropriate disaster emergency ability training activities for primary school students.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to discuss the status quo,problems and countermeasures of the Young Pioneers’ disaster emergency capacity activities.Based on the current situation of disaster emergency ability training of primary and secondary school students in the Young Pioneers’ activities,this study collates and analyzes relevant documents,notices and schemes of the Young Pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training activities in four primary school students in Quzhou City by using literature method,observation method and interview method,and interviews16 counselors and 16 primary school students from four primary schools.This paper makes an observation on the eight disaster emergency ability training activities of primary school students carried out by the Young Pioneers,and analyzes the objectives,contents,methods and approaches,security and evaluation status of the Young pioneers disaster emergency ability training activities in primary schools.It is found that the four primary schools in Quzhou city have some advantages in the Young Pioneers disaster emergency ability training activities.The schools provide reliable basic conditions for the Young Pioneers disaster emergency ability training activities.However,there are still some deficiencies in the process of carrying out the activities,which are mainly reflected in the lack of professional quality of the Young pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training,the lack of establishment of the Young Pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training activity system,the lack of diversification of the Young Pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training activities and the weak participation of primary school students.As for the existing problems,based on the research status,the author analyzes the reasons behind them,including the lack of motivation and training environment for the school to improve the professional quality of counselors,the lack of attention paid by the school to the Young pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training,and the lack of the main body and content of the Young pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training.In view of this,the following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the Young Pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training activities: improving the professional quality of the Young pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training,establishing the Young Pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training activity system,and focusing on the "learning from doing" of the Young Pioneers’ disaster emergency ability training activities.
