Community full-time workers are engaged in grassroots community services and are the bridge and link between the Party and the government to serve and connect with the masses.The motivation,ability and effectiveness of community workers have a direct impact on the level of community building.Therefore,it is of great practical importance to study the motivation of community workers.In order to study the current situation of the motivation mechanism of full-time community workers,this paper takes the full-time community workers in District H of City G as the research object,combines Herzberg’s two-factor theory and public service motivation theory,and adopts literature research method,interview method,questionnaire survey method and participatory observation method to investigate the full-time community workers in District H of City G(including the full-time community committee members serving in the community,non-household members of the two committees and party building organizers)the current incentive mechanisms and practices were investigated and analysed,from which problems were identified: 1.unreasonable incentives for remuneration and benefits;2.unsound incentives for atmosphere;3.missing incentives for career development;4.incomplete incentives for professional identity.In the construction of the incentive mechanism for full-time community workers,both motivational factors and health care factors should be considered;both external incentives and internal incentives should be taken into account to give full play to the motivation of the group of full-time community workers in public service;both the overall needs of full-time community workers should be considered comprehensively and the humane starting point should be taken into full consideration of the The final measures are as follows: 1 、Strengthen the protection and investment of remuneration and benefits;2 、 Promote the innovation of community governance mechanism;3、Optimise the management system and modernise the management capacity and management level;4、Optimise the structure of incentive mechanism.
