At present,Governments at all levels of our country are constantly improving the incentive method of civil servants,To improve the enthusiasm of civil servants,On May 20,2018,The General Office of the CPC Central Committee issued the Opinions on Further Motivating Officials to Take on New Responsibilities and make New Achievements in the New Era,To provide guidance on motivating civil servants from a variety of perspectives,guide and encourage civil servants to strengthen our commitment to the Four Consciousnesses,the Four-sphere Confidence and the Two Upholds,further enhance their political,historical,and responsibility responsibilities.As the most grassroots political organization,township civil servants naturally become the executors of implementing various policies on rural areas,give full play to the role of bridge and link with the masses,and shoulder important responsibilities such as Deepening reform and grassroots governance.In recent years,China has been carrying out reform and innovation,increasing the policy inclination to villages and towns,and improving the promotion channels and welfare level of township civil servants.However,there are still certain problems that have led to a shortage of personnel and laziness in the townships,Therefore,further research on the incentive issues for township civil servants needs to be strengthened.In this paper,the incentive situation of township civil servants in L county of S City was studied by referring to data,conducting questionnaires and interviewing methods.The current incentive status of township civil servants in L County was explored,and the existing incentive contents for grassroots civil servants in L County’s townships were identified,including aspects such as salary,promotion,assessment,training,policies,and environment.In addition,based on the characteristics of township civil servants,the problems of incentives were systematically analyzed,including an unreasonable salary system,an unsmooth promotion channel,an unclear assessment role,an incomplete training mechanism,and inadequate care for cadres.The main causes of these problems were analyzed.To solve the above problems,this paper proposes strategies for solving the incentive problems of L County township civil servants,Aiming at the development of the incentive work of township civil servants,this paper gives some practical suggestions,in order to achieve better incentive effect.
