Study On Home Care Service Of Huachuan Community,Chengdu

China’s aging is getting deeper and deeper,showing the characteristics of a large number of elderly people and a rapid ageing rate.Coupled with the low level of economic development and the problem of fewer children brought about by the family planning policy,the traditional elderly service model is difficult to meet the current demand for elderly services.The home care service model begins to emerge,in which the elderly live in families and the community provides the elderly with a retirement environment and services to meet the needs of the elderly in place.This thesis selects the home senior care service of Huachuan community in Chengdu as a case study,and analyzes the specific initiatives and innovations of Huachuan community home senior care service with the framework of senior care service demand orientation,senior care service wisdom construction and senior care service operation system optimization,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.This thesis firstly conducts a literature review study on home care services,summarizes the theoretical achievements and practical experiences of home care services at home and abroad.Secondly,it applies the case study method to elaborate the characteristics of home care service in Huachuan community in Chengdu under the theory of balance of supply and demand,the theory of smart aging,and the theory of new public service.Finally,through one-on-one interviews with staff of Huachuan community,staff of senior care institutions,senior citizens in the community,and family members of senior citizens in the community,the real situation of home senior care service in Huachuan community is understood in depth,including how to make the supply and demand of senior care service match,how to promote and implement smart senior care service,and how to improve the operation system of senior care service through innovative means.Through the case study,this thesis concludes that the successful experience of home senior care service of Huachuan community has the following three aspects.Firstly,based on the perspective of supply and demand balance,Huachuan community takes meeting the elderly’s needs for senior care services as the starting point,and matching the supply and demand for precise services as the ending point,enriching the scope of senior care services,optimizing the service mode,and improving the fit between supply and demand.Secondly,based on the perspective of smart senior care,Huachuan community vigorously promotes smart senior care services,improves the professionalism and timeliness of services through the integration of online and offline services,overlaps the promotion of smart senior care services,carries out information technology education for the elderly,improves service standards and other measures to promote the rapid implementation and sustainable development of smart senior care services.Thirdly,based on the analysis from the perspective of new public services,Huachuan community promotes the quality and efficiency of community home care services and seeks long-term development by optimizing the structure of service subjects,improving service standards and strengthening community culture construction.
