Study On The Influencing Factors Of Villagers Participation In The Governance Of Rural Human Settlements Environment

The quality of rural living environment is related to the production and life of rural residents,the degree of the governance of rural human settlements environment is related to the construction of beautiful countryside,the construction of rural ecological civilization,and the sustainable development of rural economy.As the main participants and direct beneficiaries of rural human settlements environmental governance,villagers’ participation behavior has an important influence on the governance effect of rural human settlements environment.The purpose of this article is to explore the influencing factors of villagers’ participation behavior in the governance of rural human settlements environment.The article takes L country as a sample to help analysis the villagers’ participation behavior in the governance of rural human settlements environment,subdivides the participation behavior into public and private two fields.Based on planned behavior theory,make assumptions that the influencing factors may affect villagers’ participation behavior in three aspects: Subject factors(including individual characteristics,attitudes,subjective norms,and perceived behavior control),institutional factors,environmental factors.Collected relevant data through questionnaire survey,with an empirical analysis of SPSS quantitative analysis software,obtained the following conclusions:(1)Among the individual characteristics,age,education,whether or not work outside of the country,these have significant differences in the villagers’ participation behavior;(2)Attitudes,subjective norms,and perceived behavior control affect villagers’ participation behavior positively in rural living environment governance.But the working logic is different in participation behavior in the public and private fields.In the private field,attitude is the decisive factor;in the public field,subjective norms and perceived behavior control are the decisive factors;(3)Institutional factors have a mediating effect in the influence of subjective norm and perceived behavior control on villagers’ participation behavior,and environmental factors have a mediating effect in the influence of attitude,subjective norm,and perceived behavior control on villagers’ participation behavior.Based on the above analysis results,this article draws inspirations for the governance of rural human settlements environment,such as emphasizing the importance of individual characteristics differences,enhancing villagers’ awareness of environmental governance,perfecting the villagers’ participation system,and continuously improving the rural public environment.
