Research On The Development Strategy Of Y Elderly Care Service Center In Nanning City

Population aging has become a hot topic in the world,and the emergence and continuous development of aging directly affects people’s lives and the development of the country.Nowadays the life expectancy of the older people in China is increasing,but the quality of life of the older people is uneven at the same time.At present,the quantity and quality of elderly care service institutions in various parts of China are different,and the development of institutions has been challenged to varying degrees due to regional consumption levels,people’s concepts,and the strength of the institutions.As a region with a long life expectancy and poor regional development level in China,the development of elderly care service institutions in Guangxi has become an important part of the development of old-age care in Guangxi.The core position of modern enterprise management is Strategic management,in the fierce market competition,enterprise strategic management system can figure out the key issues of the survival and development enterprises from the overall and long-term.Since the operation and development of Y Elderly Care Service Center in the past mainly focused on the development of its own business,that is to say,it only paid attention to the operation of the current business,but ignored the formulation and implementation of the enterprise strategy.In order to improve the overall development level of the center,the satisfaction of the elderly residents,and improve the occupancy rate of the institution,it is urgent to improve the problems in the operation and development of Y Elderly Care Service Center.This paper mainly uses literature research method and case analysis method.By reading relevant literature of enterprise strategy and elderly care service industry,the operation and development of Y Elderly Care Service Center are analyzed by case studies.According to the analysis,it is found that there are following three problems in the Y Elderly Care Service Center:lack of strategic management of the enterprise as a whole,insufficient bed occupancy,and lack of medical and nursing talents.According to the analysis of PEST,it is concluded that the main reasons for the low occupancy rate of Y Elderly Care Service Center are the poor development level of the region,low disposable income of residents and more traditional concepts of people.Furthermore,Porter’s five Forces model is used to analyze the competitive environment in which the enterprise is located,and the capabilities and potential threats of the enterprise in the current environment are founded out according to the analysis results.We also analyze the internal environment from the aspects of organizational structure,human resources,and financial status.At the same time,the SWOT analysis of the enterprise was carried out,and the relevant development strategies was formulated after summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of the enterprise.In addition,STP analysis is used to determine the target market and development positioning of the enterprise.It was determined that Y Elderly Care Service Center should adopt centralized strategy for the elderly care service and nursing service,among which the elderly service adopt business centralization and the nursing service adopt differential centralization strategy.Medical and rehabilitation services adopt a total cost leadership strategy to minimize related costs as far as possible while ensuring business development,so as to gain competitive advantages.The strategic choices and implementation plans of the center were analyzed and summarized accordingly.It also makes forward suggestions on the implementation process of the strategy through the principle of appropriate rationality,unified command and leadership,and contingency.Finally,strategy implementation safeguard measures are proposed from five aspects: personnel,finance,technology,culture and system.Since most of the current strategic management is used in production,manufacturing and other fields,relatively few areas involving elderly care services.In addition,the current research on elderly care service is mainly in policy formulation.Through the research of this paper,it can not only provide practical development guidance and suggestions for Y Elderly Care Service center,but also provide certain references for other enterprises in the elderly care service industry in Guangxi.
