| Population aging has not only become an important trend of China’s social development at the current stage,but also will last for a long time as China’s basic national conditions in the future.Therefore,the problem of providing for the aged is becoming more and more important.According to the standard of world aging,Tianjin has already entered the stage of deep aging society.For a long time,the degree of population aging in this city has been higher than the national average.Under the background of the rapid growth of the elderly population and the increasing demand for social pension services in Tianjin,the development of pension services in Tianjin is facing many problems.It is difficult for the elderly to obtain rich and satisfactory elderly care services in time.Under such background conditions,it is of great practical significance to study the efficiency of elderly care service industry in Tianjin.According to the actual situation of the elderly care service industry in Tianjin,this thesis makes a quantitative analysis on the efficiency and influencing factors of the elderly care service industry,so as to provide a basis for improving the quality of elderly care service in Tianjin,reasonably allocating resources and increasing the benefits of input and output.Through literature research and quantitative analysis,combined with the actual data,this thesis analyzes the efficiency and influencing factors of the elderly care service industry in Tianjin.Using the data of various regions in China in 2020 and the relevant data of Tianjin from2011 to 2020,using the Three-stage DEA model,this paper selects three input indicators,two output indicators and three environmental indicators to analyze the changes in the efficiency of elderly care service industry in Tianjin from both horizontal and vertical perspectives.On this basis,Tobit regression model is used to explore the specific effects of different factors on the efficiency of elderly care services.Through the analysis,it is found that in the horizontal comparison,the efficiency of Tianjin’s elderly care service industry before and after adjustment in 2020 is 0.778 and 0.491 respectively,ranking 18 th and 26 th in China,both at a poor level.Compared with other regions in China,Tianjin has a more serious situation of resource idle in terms of capital investment and human investment,and the efficiency value of Tianjin’s elderly care service industry is greatly affected by environmental factors;However,in the vertical comparison,the efficiency of the elderly care service industry in Tianjin reached 0.936 after adjustment in 2020.Compared with other times,the efficiency of the elderly care service in Tianjin is improving continuously as a whole,and the current investment redundancy in material investment is more serious.Through the analysis of the influencing factors,it is found that the operating income and the number of beds at the end of the year have led to the obvious gap between the efficiency of the elderly care service industry in Tianjin and other regions,and the environmental factors have an obvious effect on the improvement of the efficiency of the elderly care service industry in Tianjin in recent years.Finally,according to the analysis results,the last part of the thesis puts forward the countermeasures to further improve the efficiency of pension services in Tianjin from the perspective of pension service institutions and government departments,which provides a scientific basis for the healthy and sustainable development of pension services in this area.As the provider of elderly care services,elderly care service institutions should adjust resource allocation,pay attention to technical services and equipment upgrading,strengthen the training and introduction of high-tech talents,and strengthen publicity.Government departments should strengthen the supervision and management of the elderly care service industry,provide policy support for the development of the elderly care service industry,and improve the welfare level of the elderly. |
