In his report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that "we must firmly hold the leadership of ideological work." As the front of ideological work,colleges and universities shoulder the important mission of talent training and play an important role in the construction of socialist ideology with strong cohesion and leading power.Only by firmly mastering the discourse power of ideology in colleges and universities,can marxist ideology education run through the whole process of college education and teaching,improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education,and realize all-round and whole process of education.Under the background of the new era,based on the requirements of the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and universities and the National Conference on Ideological and Political Teachers,and following the reports of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and The State Council on strengthening and improving the ideological and political work in colleges and universities under the new situation,this paper explores the path to enhance the ideological discourse power of colleges and universities.Firstly,starting from clarifying the basic concepts of discourse power,ideological discourse power and ideological discourse power of colleges and universities in the new era,this paper expounds the new requirements put forward in the new era;Combing the relevant theoretical basis of Marxism and Its Sinicization process and the relevant ideas of other scholars,so as to provide theoretical basis and reference for this study.Secondly,it points out the new situation faced by the promotion of ideological discourse power in Colleges and universities,especially analyzes the actual situation faced by colleges and Universities under the background of the new era,focusing on the opportunities and challenges they face.Finally,it explores the path to enhance the ideological discourse power of colleges and universities in the new era.In short,we must adopt a new outlook in the new era and make new achievements on our new journey.With the advent of the all-media era,the ideological work of colleges and universities is more complex and changeable.Colleges and universities should make progress according to The Times,innovate according to the trend,and act according to the trend,so as to improve the effectiveness of their ideological discourse power.
