Research On Engels's Thought On The Self-Revolution Of The Proletarian Party And Its Contemporary Valu

Engels’ proletarian party’s self-reform thought is the theoretical source of the party’s self-reform strategic thought in the new era.Engels stressed that the courage to self-criticism is the unique symbol of the proletarian party.This is in line with General Secretary Xi Jinping’s proposal that the "courage to self-reform" is a significant symbol that distinguishes the CPC from other political parties.In 2021,the Resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century adopted at the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19 th CPC Central Committee deeply grasped the law of the development of the Party’s cause and its own construction,and included "remaining committed to self-reform" as the historical experience of the Party’s Centennial Struggle,revealing the genetic code for the Party’s eternal vitality.In 2022,the 20 th National Congress of the CPC put forward the requirement to improve the Party’s self-reform system and norms,which pointed out the direction of how to promote the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party to the in-depth development in the realization of the second centenary goal.Therefore,the study of the self-reform thought of the founder of the proletarian party from the source is the internal requirement of carrying out the great self-reform of the party to the end in the new era.As the founder of Marxism and proletarian political parties,Engels made outstanding contributions to the liberation of the working class and the construction of proletarian political parties around the world.From leading the establishment of the Communist League to the International Workers’ Association and then to the Second International,Engels accumulated rich practical experience of self-reform in the struggle for the establishment and development of the proletarian party,and made great efforts in theory,and achieved fruitful results,forming a systematic self-reform thought.As a proletarian party with Marxism Leninism as its guiding ideology,the CPC has united and led the Chinese people to achieve great achievements in revolution,construction and reform.The reason is that the Party has always adhered to the Marxist theory of party building to guide its own construction.The study of Engels’ proletarian party’s self-reform thought has important theoretical and practical significance for the CPC in the new era to master the great struggle,great project,great cause and great dream,promote the new great project of party building,and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization.According to the method of logic and history,theory and practice,this paper studies Engels’ proletarian party’s self-reform thought from five aspects.First,starting from the definition of the concept of self-reform of the proletarian party,this paper studies its theoretical basis and practical basis.The second is to comb the development process of Engels’ self-reform thought in combination with his important works in different periods.The third is to study Engels’ proletarian party’s self-reform thought from the main content and basic characteristics.Fourth,it expounds the practical path of Engels’ proletarian party’s self-reform thought from the aspects of ideological construction,political position,discipline supervision,criticism and self-criticism,and team building.The fifth is to discuss the contemporary value of Engels’ proletarian party’s self-reform thought in the light of coordinating the "Four Great" in the new era and promoting the comprehensive and strict governance of the party.Engels’ proletarian party’s self-reform thought is a valuable asset to promote the self-reform of the contemporary CPC.On the new way to catch up with the examination,we must continue to adhere to Engels’ proletarian party’s self-reform thought,apply it to the new great project of party construction in the new era,and provide political guarantee for the party’s self-reform to lead the social transformation.
