| In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s economy,the process of urbanization and urban-rural integration has continued to advance,and the flow of people and logistics has gradually broken the geographical restrictions,flowing rapidly between urban and rural areas,linking the two more closely.At the same time,the integration of urban and rural areas has also put forward higher development requirements for the level of basic public services in urban and rural areas,and transportation remains the most important concern in the daily lives of the people.At present,the national,provincial and municipal vigorously promote the priority development of public transportation,the interconnection of urban and rural public transport has become the general trend.The development of urban and rural public transport in the W district of Suzhou started early within Jiangsu Province,and has steadily promoted the integrated rural and urban public transport development over the years,and has now achieved better practical results.This paper takes W district of Suzhou as the research area,and through the combination of theory and practice,uses various methods such as literature research,field research,and comparative analysis to study the practical achievements of urban-rural bus integration development in W district of Suzhou city in various aspects such as development planning,line network structure,security measures,development scale,supporting facilities,operation measures,and information construction.According to the local development needs,this paper also summarizes and studies the development characteristics of W district on diversified bus services such as inter-provincial bus,through-school bus,customized bus,and age-appropriate bus renovation.Based on this study,this paper also summarizes and analyzes the problems in the current development of urban-rural bus integration in W district of Suzhou.The problems are mainly urban and rural bus operation line single,extension passive,supporting bus facilities are not enough,the quality of service in the bus industry is not high,the level of information technology construction is not enough in four areas.This paper makes targeted suggestions for improvement,such as improving the public transportation planning system,promoting integrated public transportation docking in the Yangtze River Delta,implementing infrastructure pioneering strategies,listening to public opinion extensively,strengthening public transportation service quality assessment,and building intelligent public transportation systems.It will further contribute to the healthy development of urban and rural bus integration in the W district of Suzhou,enhance the attractiveness of urban and rural buses,improve the quality of service of urban and rural buses,which in turn will enhance the recognition and satisfaction of the urban and rural people,the use of urban and rural buses. |
