Research On The Influence Of Government Support On The Efficiency Of Regional Technological Innovation

The new technological revolution is about to begin.Only by constantly improving the ability of technological innovation,can we meet the new opportunities and challenges.Technological innovation is important for China to develop economy.Therefore,we must overcome the core technology and seize the opportunity of innovation.However,technological innovation faces many obstacles,such as insufficient original innovation ability and low collaborative innovation degree.As the leader and coordinator of regional development,it has become a common practice for local governments to provide various kinds of support to stimulate regional innovation.Whether government support is really conducive to improving the efficiency of regional innovation has become a hot topic in academic circles.In this context,this paper explores the relationship between government support and the efficiency of innovation,and investigates how different government support methods affect the efficiency of innovation.It is of great significance to help the government optimize the way of support.This paper selected the data of technological innovation input-output of 30 provinces from 2010 to 2019.Then the DEA-BCC model and Malmquist index are used to analyze it.Finally,Tobit regression model is constructed to analyze the influence of government support on the efficiency of innovation in different regions.Draw the following conclusions:From 2010 to 2019,China’s overall innovation efficiency is at a medium level,but there are some provinces whose efficiency is relatively low.Among the three major regions,the eastern region has the highest innovation efficiency,followed by the central region and the western region.From the evolution trend of innovation efficiency,it fluctuates periodically.In the past decade,In terms of the impact of government support,government strategy is conducive to improving the efficiency of innovation in the three major regions;The construction of innovation environment has significant positive and negative effects on the efficiency of innovation in the eastern region and the central region respectively;Talent supply has a positive impact on the efficiency of innovation in the central and western regions,while it has a negative impact on the eastern region;the direct participation of the government only promotes the efficiency of innovation in the central region.This paper argues that the government needs to adhere to strategic guidance and encourage collaborative innovation;Improve the level of environment construction and create an active atmosphere;accelerate the gathering of scientific research talents to release the innovation potential of talents;clear self-positioning,optimize support methods and adjust support strength.
