Investigation And Research On Multi-ethnic Integration And Mutual Embeddedness In L Village,Tongren City,Guizhou Province

After the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the construction of a harmonious,inter-embedded community between ethnic groups has become a top priority in ethnic work.Promoting extensive exchanges and integration between various ethnic groups is not only the crystallization of the theoretical and practical wisdom of the Party’s ethnic work,but also an important way to promote the construction of the Chinese national community.L Village is located in the northeast of Guizhou Province and belongs to the Fanjingshan area.The local resources are rich,especially mercury mine resources that were effectively developed a long time ago.Driven by the "mercury mining economy," various ethnic groups were attracted and settled here,forming a multi-ethnic interlaced pattern with local characteristics.Today,L Village can be regarded as a typical example of the integration and interlocking of the Chinese national community.This article attempts to explore the formation process of multi-ethnic integration and inter-embedding relationships in the village from the perspective of L Village’s history and reality,using field investigation,historical literature,and questionnaire methods.Through the analysis of relevant historical documents and legends,it is concluded that L Village originated from the development of mercury mine resources.In the process of village construction in the new era,the exchanges and interactions between different ethnic groups in terms of living environment,livelihood,ethnic intermarriage,daily life,and customs have deepened the current inter-embedding pattern of the village.Based on the research content,the current situation of interaction and integration between ethnic groups in the village has been summarized and considered.It is believed that the coexistence,co-construction,co-learning,and sharing of living space,economy,spiritual home,and culture in L Village are the prerequisites for inter-ethnic integration and inter-embedding.The leadership of the Party and the government,coordinated participation,construction of spiritual homes,and the application of the internet technology in the community construction are the driving factors for inter-ethnic integration and inter-embedding.It is the joint effect of these factors that has made L Village a harmonious multi-ethnic inter-embedded community.
