As an important way to promote the development of ethnic relations among ethnic groups, ethnic exchanges and integration have become an important topic of the times in China’s ethnic work in the new era. From the perspective of historical progress,China’s history is not only a history of rise and fall, but also a history of exchanges and exchanges among ethnic groups. This study is based on the evolutionary example of Mongolian and Han exchanges in Liujiaying Village, takes diachronism as the main line, and uses the research methods of ethnology, history and anthropology to sort out the characteristics of ethnic exchanges and integration in specific practice.Based on the political, economic, cultural and social interactions in its historical process,it explores the internal logic of the phased development of Liujiaying Village in the process of ethnic exchange, communication and integration,so as to provide a reference for the construction of harmonious ethnic relations in the new era.Liujiaying Village is a village of Mongolian and Han people under the jurisdiction of Qiling Street,Linzi District,Zibo City,Shandong Province. It is known as "the first Mongolian village in Shandong".The Mongolians in Liujiaying Village settled here due to the garrison during the Yuan Dynasty and lived for more than 750 years. As an ethnic minority immigrant group and living in Han villages for a long time, the ethnic relations between the Mongolians and the surrounding Han people in Liujiaying Village have been continuously developed in the historical process.During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties,in the process of inter-ethnic contact, the Mongolians in Liujiaying Village and the surrounding Han people adapted to the social and economic environment through identity changes and livelihood patterns, while understanding and communicating with each other in cultural collisions. From the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,on the basis of extensive exchanges, the Mongolian people in Liujiaying Village have become increasingly harmonious in ethnic relations through the assistance of revolutionary struggle, the prosperity and development of economic activities, the continuous connotation of cultural customs and in-depth exchanges with the surrounding Han ethnic groups. After the founding of New China, with the gradual concealment of "ethnic" identity in the country’s "citizen" identity, coupled with the impact of the era of collectivized economy and the increase of commonalities in cultural prosperity and development, the national identity of the Mongolian people in Liujiaying Village increased day by day.In recent years, under the guidance of national policies, the common prosperity of ethnic groups and collective memory cohesion have provided endogenous impetus for the emergence of ethnic integration. With the joint efforts of multiple roles,Liujiaying Village has clearly presented the realistic vision of ethnic integration in the new era.Through the analysis of the historical evolution of Mongolian and Han ethnic exchanges in Liujiaying Village,it can be found that: First of all,the development of exchanges and integration between Mongolian and Han ethnic groups in Liujiaying Village is a dynamic process, and to a certain extent,it is manifested as a staged progression.Secondly, the development of ethnic exchanges and integration is not affected by a single factor, but by the combination of multiple factors.Thirdly, the emergence of ethnic integration is not achieved overnight, but comes from the process of long-term interaction between ethnic groups. Finally, the enhancement of commonalities among all ethnic groups and the expansion of identity is the fundamental reason for ethnic integration, and it is also the basis for forging the sense of community of the Chinese nation in the new era.In addition, adhering to policy guidance, strengthening the historical foundation, promoting economic development and cultural communication are important driving forces to promote ethnic exchanges and integration in the new era and achieve national unity and progress.
