At the 18th National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping assumed the role of leader of the Party Central Committee,and with it,the potential for the Party and nation to endure or perish through "anti-corruption".He also included the stringent control of the Party in the"Four Comprehensives" strategic plan.The Party has adhered to a policy of no forbidden zones,full coverage,and zero tolerance,and launched an unprecedented anti-corruption campaign with a heavy-handed approach of "striking tigers,swatting flies,and hunting foxes.At the 20th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection’s Second Plenary Session,it was emphatically declared that all disciplinary inspection and supervision bodies must remain devoted to the Party’s self-revolution and its comprehensive,rigorous governance.The Township Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision,the "last mile" of such work,is confronted with intricate contradictions.Nevertheless,they must not waver or cease,but rather persist in upholding the Party’s original mission,faithfully executing the obligations given by the Party Constitution and the Constitution,and sustaining a long-term,stringent tone,regulations,and atmosphere.The new situation of strict governance of the Party puts forward new requirements for the work of township commissions for discipline inspection and supervision.In-depth research into the township commission’s discipline inspection and supervision,taking G City S Town as an example,is conducted from the perspectives of new public management theory and power constraint.This research is done through a combination of literature,qualitative,empirical(case analysis method),questionnaire interview,and other methods.Beginning with the supervisor’s performance evaluation of the disciplinary inspection and supervision agency,the process commences.this article.Introducing the fundamentals of disciplinary inspection and supervision,the township commission for discipline inspection and supervision,and the performance evaluation of the commission,we use G City S Town as an example to analyze the current performance of the commission.This includes the setting of the township commission for discipline inspection and supervision.organization and personnel,leadership system,work system,and the general process of case handling.By means of a combination of subjective and objective methods such as surveys and individual interviews,the author identifies the various difficulties in the performance of the township commission for discipline inspection and supervision,including weak ability to focus on their main tasks,a large number of "abnormal petitions,"poor quality of cases,and greater risks of corruption in key areas.The internal reasons for these issues are analyzed from several aspects,such as institutional mechanisms,supervision methods,supervision effects,and talent team construction.Finally,targeted suggestions are proposed to improve institutional mechanisms,strengthen the breadth and depth of discipline inspection and supervision,enhance supervision effectiveness,and improve cadre team building.
