With the development of the economy,people’s material needs have been greatly satisfied,but people’s spiritual needs have not been met to the same extent,on the contrary,some people even feel that life is becoming more and more empty,and they feel more and more unhappy.The research significance of this paper lies in the in-depth and meticulous study and understanding of Marx’s concept of happiness,excavating its contemporary value,and finding out the connotation and essence of happiness,so as to help Chinese society correct the deviation in the previous understanding of happiness,establish a scientific and reasonable concept of happiness,and promote the comprehensive progress of society and the realization of the"Chinese Dream".Based on the background,theoretical origin and theoretical cornerstone of Marx’s happiness thought,this paper provides a series of explanations on Marx’s happiness thought.Marx’s idea of happiness was born in a specific political,economic and cultural background,which was advanced for the society at that time,but also had certain limitations for contemporary society.At the same time,Marx’s idea of happiness did not arise out of thin air,and the birth of this idea also stemmed from Marx’s disagreement with many happiness ideas in the West at that time.Among them,the rationalist "supreme good" happiness thought,the Christian "ascetic" happiness thought,the sensualist "happy" happiness thought,and the utilitarian "happiness and avoidance of suffering" happiness thought all gave Marx certain inspiration,but at the same time there are more prominent defects.These ideas are also explained in this article.The foundation of Marx’s idea of happiness,born on this basis,is very concise.The theoretical cornerstone of Marx’s idea of happiness can be briefly summarized as follows:the subject of happiness-"real man";the prescriptiveness of happinessthe possession of "human essence";The path to happiness-the communist movement.Marx’s idea of happiness is a detailed explanation of the three aspects of the appeal,and the specific exposition of its causes and consequences.After sorting out the framework and context of Marx’s happiness thought,this paper explores the main content of Marx’s happiness thought.Specifically,the following points are:first,the unity of personal happiness and human nature;second,the reconciliation of labor creation and enjoyment of life;Third,the integration of material life and spiritual life;Fourth,the harmony of personal happiness and social happiness.Marx’s idea of happiness is a happiness idea suitable for China’s national conditions,which is not only conducive to human development,but also conducive to social construction and the realization of the Chinese dream.Marx’s idea of happiness also has strong guiding significance for the development of contemporary society.The contemporary value of Marx’s happiness thought mainly lies in its ability to promote the all-round development of people,help the construction of national prosperity and strength,and promote the construction of a harmonious society.This idea can help every individual in contemporary society better understand the connotation and essence of happiness,help us establish a scientific,reasonable and healthy concept of happiness in a complex society,and help us find a scientific way to pursue happiness and enjoy happiness.Under the guidance of Marx’s concept of happiness,the happiness of the individual can be fully realized,and only on the basis of the happiness of the individual can the overall happiness of the society be realized,and the entire society can be promoted to continue to develop.
