Study On Xi Jinping’s Concept Of Happiness

Happiness is the eternal pursuit of human beings,the pursuit of happiness is the eternal theme of life,but also the ultimate goal of all human activities.On the one hand,our country has entered a new stage of development of "building a moderately prosperous society in all respects and realizing socialist modernization",and people’s yearning for a better life is increasing.On the other hand,with the rapid development of economy,we are faced with many risks and challenges since entering the new era.When people meet their material conditions,their ideas also change.Due to the concept of money supremacy and utilitarianism,people blindly understand and pursue happiness.Since the 18th National Congress of the Party,General Secretary Xi Jinping has addressed the topic of happiness in many important speeches during his great journey of uniting and leading people of all ethnic groups in building the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics,forming an ideology of happiness with rich connotations and distinctive features,constituting a systematic and theoretical concept of happiness.This article focuses on the theoretical origins,connotations,characteristics,contemporary values and practical paths of Xi Jinping’s concept of happiness.Firstly,the theoretical origins of Xi Jinping’s concept of happiness are reviewed and summarised in terms of theoretical basis and practical foundation.Secondly,the main content and characteristics of Xi Jinping’s concept of happiness are analysed,with people’s happiness as the starting point,meeting people’s multifaceted needs for a better life as the main theme,achieving free and comprehensive human development as the ultimate goal,and achieving happiness through labour and struggle as the main content of Xi Jinping’s concept of happiness,and pointing out that peoplehood,wholeness,development,comprehensiveness and practicability are the basic characteristics.The value of Xi Jinping’s concept of happiness for the times is again discussed,and Xi Jinping’s concept of happiness has important theoretical and practical values.Finally,the basic path for the realisation of Xi Jinping’s concept of happiness is proposed.
