The accelerated process of economic globalization has led human society into the information age,and digital technology has gradually developed into an important part of human life.Under the pressure brought by the aging population,analyzing the digital poverty of the elderly groups can play a positive role in promoting the stable development of society from both internal and external governance aspects.This paper is based on social cognition,viability and social support theories,with personal factors of older adults,digital services,digital products and government help in social factors as independent variables and the degree of digital poverty of older adults as dependent variables.At the same time,the research hypothesis was proposed,a research model of the influencing factors of the digital poverty level of the elderly was constructed,questionnaires were distributed to some elderly people in Wuhan,and the questionnaire data were statistically analyzed and hypotheses were verified by SPSS and AMOS software.The results of the study show that there is a negative influence between the literacy,income,health status and digital awareness of the elderly and the degree of digital poverty in China,and there is a negative influence of digital services,digital products and government support on the degree of digital poverty.The study shows that the causes of digital poverty among the elderly include: government support needs to be improved;the quantity and quality of digital services are insufficient;digital products are not suitable for the aging;digital awareness and digital ability are lacking.At the same time,the following countermeasures are proposed: improve government support;provide more digital services for the elderly;develop and design more age-appropriate digital products;and improve the digital ability and digital awareness of the elderly.
