Research On Feminized Phenomenon And Trends Of Urban Community Governance In China

The community is the basic unit of national construction.At present,the urban community in China is in the stage of community governance to improve services.Women are the main participants in community governance and play an important role.Most of the existing researches do conceptual overall research,and lack the governance strategies and affective mechanisms that analyze individual actions from a gender perspective.Based on the practice of community governance in Nanyuan Street,Hangzhou,this research finds that in the actual development of the community,the feminization of urban community governance has a significant performance and trend: the feminization of community workers,and the flexibility and emotionally oriented trend of community governance.From the perspective of macro-policy,the policies,systems and cultural values of urban community governance in my country provide a guarantee for the entry of women: as a grass-roots governance structure,communities carry more diverse and life-like basic governance functions,and community governance needs to be more humane,A governance method that focuses on flexibility and emotional elements,which is in line with women’s natural and social attributes.At the same time,from the perspective of women,women’s daily practices and actions also affect the orientation of community structure and functions.Women’s governance behavior is flexible and emotionally oriented,and through the use of multiple emotional elements,it has an important impact on community governance.From the macro to the micro,the feminization of urban community governance is not only a concrete manifestation of flexible community governance and emotional orientation at the community level,but also a micro practice in which women give full play to their initiative and positively influence policies and structures,fully embodying and promoting community governance.Flexibility and emotional governance orientation.Based on the practice of community governance in Nanyuan Street,Hangzhou,this thesis uses case studies and interviews to analyze the behavioral strategies and emotional mechanisms of women’s community governance from the perspective of gender.The study finds that women form an emotional orientation in the process of community governance.It completes the accumulation of emotion-oriented elements in the daily practice of the community,and forms a variety of emotional governance mechanisms: structural emotional governance mechanism,situational emotional governance mechanism,self-fulfilling emotional governance mechanism,relational emotional governance mechanism,and internal emotional governance mechanism.Acquired emotion governance mechanism.Finally,based on the survey of the community and the analysis of the case of community workers,the thesis finds that there are some challenges in urban community governance: heavy administrative tasks and cumbersome assignments for women;community development and individual capacity development are not completely synchronized;women’s development is constrained by the family large,cognitive dislocation of community female workers,etc.Based on the status quo and challenges,tentatively give feasible suggestions: balanced division of labor,stimulate the power of female cadres;achieve full personal development;strengthen self-identity and gender awareness,aiming to provide urban community female workers and under the trend of flexible community governance Provide reference for the better development of the community.
