The study of job satisfaction has always been a hot topic in the field of modern management research,but the study of civil servant job satisfaction has not been emerging in the field of public administration and career management for a long time,the research in this respect can enrich the practical research in the construction of China’s modern governance system.Due to the vast territory and large population of our country,in order to enhance our country’s modern governance capacity,it is particularly important to improve the administrative efficiency of the government’s grass-roots organizations,and to study the factors influencing the job satisfaction of grass-roots civil servants and improve the countermeasures,can explore to find out the effective method that the government promotes the basic unit to govern the ability.This paper chooses Y County,a underdeveloped County in the southwest of China,as the research object,in order to find out the negative factors which affect the satisfaction of the grass-roots workers in the specific work,and to put forward the corresponding countermeasures.Through consulting the relevant literature in the school library,How Net and MBA think tank,we have a more comprehensive understanding of the research status of job satisfaction at home and abroad,as well as the research and analysis methods of job satisfaction.Based on the Minnesota short form questionnaire,this paper designs a questionnaire,selects some county departments and towns in Y County,and investigates the grassroots civil servants’ job satisfaction in the form of questionnaire.Excel and SPSS software were used to analyze the survey results,and the factors influencing the job satisfaction of grass-roots civil servants in Y county were obtained.Then interviews were conducted with some respondents to confirm the questionnaire situation and analyze the specific reasons.According to the survey,the satisfaction of grass-roots civil servants in Y county is generally low.Most of them say that the salary is difficult to support daily expenses.They are busy with work and often work overtime.Most of them want to be transferred from their current posts or be transferred to other posts.Some even have the idea of resigning.The specific reasons for this phenomenon include low income level,unreasonable work distribution and grassroots official duties of township organs There are six aspects: poor working conditions,leadership level to be strengthened,future direction confusion,personal value difficult to play and improve.Finally,the paper puts forward the specific countermeasures to improve the satisfaction of grassroots civil servants in Y County,including optimizing the income and remuneration,reasonably allocating human resources,improving the supporting facilities,improving the level of leadership and management,and broadening the promotion channels.
