Craftsman spirit means important value to manufacturing industry which determines a country’s economic strength and global status.Therefore,it is valuable and meaningful to study craftsman spirit in manufacturing industry.Grassroots staff in manufacturing industry are important practitioners of craftsman spirit.Therefore,it becomes an urgent topic to discuss with studying of manufacturing grassroots staff’s craftsman spirit.The paper based the questionnaire research on the grassroots staff of the manufacturing industry,to study their craftsman character and skills of craftsman spirit.The questionnaire is designed according to the influence of organizational climate and organizational identity on the craftsman spirit,and combining the in-depth interviews and expert interviews.By the reliability analysis,validity analysis and EFA on pre-survey data,the scales were condensed and adjusted,then formal questionnaire be obtained.The formal questionnaires were mainly distributed among manufacturing grassroots staff in Ningbo and its surrounding cities of Zhejiang Province.There were 343 questionnaires be received,and 296 were valid.The valid questionnaires data was analysed,SEM was established and verified.The analysis results show that:Organizational climate affects craftsman spirit of grassroots staff in manufacturing industry directly;Organizational climate affects the craftsman spirit of grassroots staff in manufacturing industry indirectly through organizational identify which as the intermediary.The paper analyzes the influence mechanism and path among the organizational climate,organizational identity and craftsman spirit of manufacturing grassroots staff,hypothesis was set and verified,as follows:(1)Organizational climate and its three dimensions-organizational level,management style and interpersonal relations,affect craftsman spirit of grassroots staff in manufacturing industry positively.(2)Organizational identity affects craftsman spirit of grassroots staff in manufacturing industry positively.(3)Organizational climate and its three dimensions are positively affecting the organizational identity of grassroots staff in manufacturing industry.(4)Organizational identity is a medium in the influence of organizational climate and its three dimensions on the craftsman spirit of grassroots staff in manufacturing industry.The paper and its conclusions enrich the research of influence mechanism among organizational climate,organizational identify and grassroots staff’s craftsman spirit in manufacturing industry,and also provide beneficial enlightenment to other similar enterprises in strengthening and cultivating the craftsman spirit of grassroots staff. |
