| Oral language teaching mainly focuses on cultivating students’ oral English ability.Online Chinese classes lack the authenticity,interactivity and practicality required for language learning.They are not attractive enough to lively and impatient children,which greatly reduces students’ classroom participation and has a great impact on online oral Chinese teaching.Chinese teachers should make the best use of the situation,teach students in accordance with their aptitude,find teaching methods suitable for children and online oral Chinese teaching,to improve students’ classroom participation and oral ability.Therefore,based on the status quo of children’s oral production,using literature research,classroom observation and action research methods to summarize the classroom problems and oral production problems that students have encountered during the research stage,and formulate solutions will help to cultivate children’s Chinese learners’ speaking ability and further promote the development of online Chinese teaching.First of all,the research object is determined to be three children Chinese learners in the "Qian dao hua yu" class of the Yongchun Chinese Association Center in Indonesia.Their Chinese level is at the elementary Chinese level,and they can carry out simple classroom greetings,but lacks the enthusiasm to participate in classroom activities,and cannot correctly use Chinese to answer classroom questions raised by teachers.In addition,the lack of sufficient opportunities for comprehensible input and oral practice also affects the quantity and quality of students’ oral output.Secondly,based on the above questions,the action research is divided into two stages.According to the classroom observation and teacher’s log,the research questions of the first stage are:(1)How to increase student engagement in the classroom;(2)How to improve students’ oral output.The research questions of the second stage are:(1)How to improve students’ speaking rate in sentence practice;(2)How to improve students’ oral complexity;(3)How to improve students’ oral accuracy.Then,combined with the learning characteristics of the students,the problems in the classroom are analyzed from various aspects,and an action plan for the two-stage problems is formulated.The first-stage action plan is:(1)Carry out game exercises to increase classroom participation;(2)Increase the types of language exercises to increase the rate of students speaking.The action plan for the second stage is:(1)Focus on mechanical exercises to reduce the difficulty of exercises;(2)Adopt intuitive teaching methods to provide understandable input;(3)Emphasize non-verbal communication and create a relaxed atmosphere.Finally,by comparing the classroom performance of students in the two stages,it is found that:(1)the game teaching method can improve students’ classroom participation,thereby increasing the number of students’ oral English output;(2)the intuitive teaching method can provide comprehensible input,thereby improving students’ quality of oral output. |
