| In the context of the global epidemic,some Chinese classes have moved online.In November2020,the author participated in a one-year online Chinese teaching project co-operated by the Center for Language Education and the University of Baba Oyo,Ecuador.I used the TPRS teaching method in the elementary Chinese online class,and received positive feedback from the students.The feedback from TPRS has solved the existing problems of Ecuadorian online Chinese courses to a certain extent,and deepened the theoretical and practical understanding of TPRS through the continuous reflection of action research.This paper conducted two rounds of TPRS action research.The first round of action research solved to a certain extent the lack of teacher-student interaction in the online elementary Chinese classroom in Ecuador,the class atmosphere was dull,the students lacked a sense of class belonging and cohesion,and the learning motivation was not strong.It expands the advantages of TPRS teaching method and online teaching,and summarizes the difficulties of using TPRS teaching method online.The second round of action research improved the specific problems of TPRS online teaching in the establishment of meaning,the construction of TPRS stories,and the story inquiry of teachers and students in the classroom,and put forward pioneering ideas on the expansion of Chinese character teaching and the enrichment of story forms.Based on the two rounds of action research,we discussed three issues: "language input and output,"TPRS classroom stories",and"continuous development of TPRS teaching method".Finally,from the transformation of traditional thinking,the use of online teaching advantages,to create individuality This paper puts forward practical suggestions for teachers on how to conduct TPRS Chinese teaching online.There are five chapters in this paper.The first chapter discusses the question,the research method,the goal and the significance.The second chapter is a literature review of TPRS Chinese teaching and online Chinese teaching.The third chapter is the first round of action research report,which starts from background introduction,problem analysis,action plan design,action implementation and observation,summary and reflection.The fourth chapter is the report of the second round of action research.On the basis of reflection on the first round of action research,the second round of research is carried out according to the steps of action research.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which is summarized from three aspects: problem discussion,TPRS online Chinese teaching suggestions,research innovations and deficiencies. |
