In recent years,with the rapid development of Internet technology,online teaching is gradually favored by educators because of its convenience and independence from time and space restrictions.COVID-19,which outbreak in 2020,has objectively greatly promoted the development and progress of online teaching,which is widely used in various fields of education and teaching,including the field of International Chinese Language Education,where online team teaching has become a new option for International Chinese Language Education in order to cope with the special social situation and improve teaching effectiveness.This study focuses on the current situation of classroom management in elementary school Chinese classrooms in the form of Chinese-Thai online team teaching.Through teacher-student questionnaires,teacher interviews,and classroom observations,a comprehensive survey was conducted to investigate the current situation of Chinese classroom management in elementary school in this format,starting from teachers,students,and real classrooms respectively.According to the results of the survey,the classroom management of elementary school Chinese under the Chinese-Thai online team teaching format is characterized by an unstable classroom environment,a variety of problematic behaviors,a single form of classroom interaction,and classroom rules that are easily ignored.Based on the research findings,this paper summarizes the current problems in three aspects: teachers’ teaching,management,language,and collaborative skills,students’ subjective awareness,and school management.Therefore,this paper proposes strategies to address each of these problems.In terms of teachers,teachers should continue to improve their professional competence,classroom management skills,foreign language skills and collaborative skills;in terms of students,they should guide students to clarify their motivation and correct their learning attitudes;in terms of schools,schools should improve the relevant regulations at the institutional level,plan class time reasonably,and create an effective communication platform and environment for online collaborative teaching. |
