With the continuous improvement of Chinese cultural soft power,the oversea influence of Chinese culture is also growing.In the past few years,researchers have generally paid attention to how to help cultural receptive groups to achieve cultural adaptation more quickly from the disseminator’s perspective.Few have discussed how to make cultural receptive groups actively integrate into Chinese cultural system;at the same time,previous research also mostly concentrate on international students regarding the cultural acceptance groups,and there are few studies on other groups such as foreign employees coming to China.In order to make up for the above research shortcomings,this thesis,based on the theory of cultural identity,uses questionnaires and interviews to investigate the Chinese cultural identity of Japanese employees in China in two Japanese-funded companies,and based on the obtained data,the factors that affect the level of cultural identity of employees of Japanese companies in China are analyzed.The results are as follows:(1)The questionnaire survey shows that the level of Chinese cultural identity of employees of Japanese companies in China is relatively high.The four dimensions of cultural identity from the highest level to the lowest are ethnic cultural identity,cultural form identity,value identity and language identity.(2)The results of the questionnaire show that Chinese proficiency has a significant impact on the four dimensions of Chinese cultural identity of Japanese company employees in China;the length of Chinese cultural training before they come to China and the main reasons for coming to China have a significant impact on the language identity level of Japanese company employees have a greater impact.(3)In-depth interviews found that the use of online media,language habits and frequency of language use,and cultural differences are also important factors that affect the Chinese cultural identity of employees of Japanese companies in China.In view of the research results,this thesis puts forward suggestions for improving the Chinese cultural identity of employees of foreign companies in China in three aspects: innovating cultural communication methods,enriching the content of cultural communication,and improving the efficiency of cultural reception.By investigating the cultural identity of Japanese employees in Japanese companies in China,it is helpful to understand the adaptation and recognition of non-student groups in China,and can provide good inspiration for companies to cultivate multinational talents.The relevant countermeasures to improve the cultural identity of employees can also help cultural accepting groups to actively learn and understand Chinese culture,and thus continuously improve the influence and recognition of Chinese culture.
