| The film and television cultural industry is an important link in the cultural industry and is gradually growing into a core component of the country’s soft power.In recent years,with the changes in the domestic economic environment and cultural market,China’s film and television cultural industry has shown a good momentum of development,and has gradually gone abroad to the world,exporting excellent Chinese film and television works.With the development of the Internet,the support of government policies and the cooperation of enterprises within the industry,the development of China’s film and television cultural industry has taken shape.At the same time,the Group of Twenty(G20)has become an important platform for global economic governance,and the extensive participation of emerging economies makes the G20 mechanism more representative.With the deepening of investment cooperation among G20 countries,the diversity and complexity of different cultures are gradually highlighted,and the status of cultural trade has been enhanced.According to OECD statistics,from the fourth quarter of 2019 to the fourth quarter of 2021,the total import value of service trade in G20 countries showed a growing trend,with a growth rate of 11.3%;and as of December 31,2021,China Sixteen of the 27 countries and regions that export domestic films overseas are G20 member countries,which shows that China and G20 countries have a certain potential for developing film and television cultural trade.However,the development of China’s film and television culture trade has both opportunities and challenges.According to statistics,in 2021,the total box office revenue of Chinese movies reached 47.2 billion yuan,surpassing that of North America.Among them,the total box office revenue of domestic films reached 39.9 billion yuan.0.7%of the income is in the G20 countries.China’s film and television cultural product exports have weak international market competitiveness and comparative advantages,unbalanced market distribution,and unstable growth in total exports.It has maintained a trade deficit for several consecutive years.Therefore,enhancing the international competitiveness of China’s film and television cultural industry is not only conducive to enhancing the country’s cultural soft power,but also expanding the export scale of film and television cultural products and promoting economic growth.At present,the G20 group not only has a higher status in global governance as a whole,but the emerging economies represented by China have gradually gained more voice.Therefore,under such a trend,it is particularly important to study the export of China’s film and television culture industry to G02 countries.The research objective of this paper is to build a reasonable framework for analyzing the current situation,influencing factors and countermeasures of China’s film and television cultural products export trade to G20 countries.First of all,at the theoretical level,this paper introduces the definition of related concepts of film and television culture trade in detail,and sorts out and reviews the main theoretical basis and competitiveness of film and television cultural products in detail from several main aspects of domestic and foreign research,theoretical and empirical research.The main models and selected influencing factors in the empirical analysis of measurement standards and film and television cultural products trade.In summary,in terms of research theory,the current research mostly adopts the theory of economies of scale,demand preference theory,comparative advantage theory,and cultural dimension theory;In the empirical link,the economic level and cultural distance are often used as the core explanatory variables.In the selection of research objects,most of them focus on developed countries such as Europe,the United States,Japan and South Korea,countries along the "Belt and Road" and the ten ASEAN countries.The G20 group has not yet involved,thus forming the innovation of this paper.Finally,in terms of research results,the theories selected in the theoretical research on film and television culture trade overlap to a large extent,and there is no unified conclusion on the influencing factors of film and television culture trade.Secondly,this paper selects the trade data of China’s film and television cultural products exports to G20 countries from 2011 to 2021,and analyzes China’s film and television culture by measuring the export scale and export market,and specifically measuring the international market competitiveness index and revealed comparative advantage index.The current competitiveness and insufficiency of trade,and preliminary exploration of the possible influencing factors of China’s export trade of film and television cultural products to G20 countries.In the following empirical link,the main influencing factors selected in the article include economic factors,demographic factors,cultural factors,institutional factors,technological level,capital investment and geographical distance,etc.,and quantify and carry out with appropriate indicators according to relevant databases and measurement formulas.The preliminary hypothesis is based on the panel data of the total export volume of Chinese film and television cultural products to G20 countries from 2011 to 2021,with Stata measurement software as technical support,and regression analysis and testing through the extended gravity model.Finally,based on the empirical results to explore The main influencing factors affecting the export of Chinese film and television cultural products to G20 countries and the degree of influence of these factors,judging the positive factors and negative factors,lay the foundation for the proposal of countermeasures and suggestions.Finally,based on the above theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,this paper aims at the different directions and factors brought about by various factors on the export of Chinese film and television cultural products to G20 countries from the three levels of government,producers of film and television cultural products,and creators of film and television cultural products.Put forward policy suggestions based on different degrees of influence,and put forward an outlook on the development prospects of the film and television cultural industry in China.At the government level,policy support should be further used to promote the establishment of communication platforms,strengthen bilateral communication and friendly exchanges,promote the "going out" of China’s film and television cultural industry,and expand its influence and competitiveness;at the level of creators of film and television cultural products,they should While making full use of Chinese traditional cultural resources,combine the cuttingedge technology of the times to improve the quality and innovation of film and television cultural products;at the level of creators of film and television cultural products,we should focus on strengthening market segmentation,further broaden the film and television cultural industry chain,and increase product added value,promote the upgrading of the industrial structure,and enhance the core competitiveness of film and television cultural products with more cutting-edge talents and technologies. |
