Research On The Image Characteristics And Singing Of The Musical "Humen Destruction Of Opium

Through the integration of music,dance,lyrics and stage art,the musical portrays characters and tells a story that is unique in its synthesis.The original musical "Destruction of opium at Humen" adopts the idea of " large background,small characters" and combines oriental aesthetic colours,based on classical Chinese traditions,to tell the historical story of Lin Zexu’s destruction of opium at Humen in Dongguan in the 19 th year of the Daoguang era.The author intends to use the love story of Zhong and Qianniang as a clue to explain the female character of Qianniang.Through the introduction of the background and plot of the creation of "Destruction of opium at Humen",the author will gain a deeper understanding of the three-dimensional character of Qianniang and the changes in her emotions;through the in-depth analysis of the external and internal image of Qianniang,the author will gain a deeper understanding of the character and thus better portray the character.Through the performance of the author’s MA graduation concert and the deeper interpretation of the lyrics,melody and singing style,the author has gained a deeper understanding of the variations in the singing style of the girls in different scenarios,the importance of singing in characterisation,and the importance of the complementarity between acting and singing.
