The Analysis Of The Musical Image Building Of The Heroine Qianniang

The opera Sima Qian was a Chinese original national opera.During its creation,Zhang Ping,a playwright,shouldered heavy tasks,and its music was composed by Zhang Yulong,a composer.With a profound meaning,the script,focusing on the main line,that is,the life of Sima Qian(the historian in the Western Han Dynasty)and his family,tells the story of the great historian who made a determined effort on writing history books.Integrating with the characteristics of Chinese ballads and metrical poems,and absorbing the essence of traditional operas and classical poems and songs,the opera poetry(1)has the literariness and rhythmic beauty.Its musical creation adopts the creating techniques of western opera music while absorbs the traditional music materials such as Shaanxi traditional opera,folk songs,court elegant music and Xi’an drum music.Music and plot in the opera go well with each other,which is the peak combination of opera poetry and music.As Sima Qian’s wife,Qianniang plays an important role in the formation,cohesion and development of the whole opera.She is one of the indispensable positive characters in the development of dramatic conflicts and climax.As a soprano voice part,the author chooses the female musical image of "Qianniang" in the opera Sima Qian to analyze.The analysis on the overall characteristics of the creative thought and artistic style of the heroine,is also an important perspective for a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the musical characteristics of the opera.Based on the analysis of the creation of playwrights and composers,comprehensively explain the design purpose and significance of this character image in script structure.Then,sum up the characteristics of the music image of Qianniang,and analyze the specific example.This thesis contains four chapters.The first chapter is a brief overview of the creative background,main creators and plot outline of the opera.In the second chapter,Introduce the form and content of Qianniang’s appearances in various acts of opera.following Sima Qian’s life experience,the author analyses the dramatic image of Qianniang.The third chapter summarizes and analyzes the characteristics of music creation used in the image building of the female character.In the last chapter,the structure,lyrics and performances of the two classical arias,We Are an Inseparable Couple Forever and Never Let You,My Dearest Husband,Die of Injustice are analyzed.
