| With the rapid development of the documentary industry,Chinese documentaries are covering an increasingly wider range of topics.In this context,China’s long-standing food culture is more and more favored by TV and film producers.There is a lot for us to learn from food documentaries,whether they are long series rich in content and well made,such as A Bite of China and A Bite of Shunde,or short series with a fast pace,such as Breakfast in China and Flavorful Origins.This paper attempts to explore Chinese food documentaries from the perspective of TV and film narratology and in combination with the author’s creation experience of the graduation work Thousand-Mile Duck Fragrance,hoping to contribute to the development of Chinese food documentaries. |
