The guiding training program for postgraduate students of master of Chinese international education clearly proposes to cultivate the students’ Chinese teaching ability and Chinese culture communication ability.However,for the training of the professional talents,we should not only pay attention to their practical ability,but also strengthen their academic research ability.To a certain extent,the degree thesis of culture can reflect the current effect of the major on the cultivation of students’ Chinese culture communication ability and cultural teaching ability.It is necessary and valuable to study this.Therefore,this paper makes an investigation and analysis of the master’s degree theses of Chinese and foreign international education in recent ten years,which are included in CNKI,in order to provide some reference for the future writing of master’s degree theses of Chinese culture.This paper takes 2832 master’s degree theses of Chinese International Education from 2011 to 2021 on CNKI as the research object,and makes a preliminary investigation and Analysis on the overall distribution,research content,writing types and research methods of the theses by using the methods of literature analysis,data statistics and comparative analysis.The results show that,in terms of the overall distribution,the proportion of cultural degree theses of master of Chinese International Education in the total number of master of Chinese International Education theses is relatively small,only13.56%;Secondly,from the perspective of cultural research content,the research content has the characteristics of universality and centralization,and some topics are too broad;In terms of writing types,the types of papers are becoming more and more diversified,the number of new types of papers is less,and the writing forms need to be standardized;From the perspective of research methods,the application of research methods is becoming more and more diversified,the frequency of application of methods is significantly different,and the concept of some similar research methods is not clearly defined.Through the investigation and analysis of the current writing situation of the master of Chinese International Education’s cultural degree thesis,this paper puts forward some thoughts and suggestions,such as paying attention to the weak areas of cultural research,giving consideration to other thesis writing types on the basis of a large number of special research,paying attention to the learning and training of research methods,strengthening the normative consciousness of the application of research methods,etc.
