Vocabulary is the building material of language and has an important position in second language acquisition. The use of vocabulary by Chinese learners in oral communication largely reflects their Chinese ability and proficiency. It is inevitable that errors occurs in the process of second language acquisition,so it is very necessary to analyze the causes of errors and propose corresponding countermeasures to prevent and reduce the occurrence of errors.Based on the text corpus of "Informal Talks"(Season 6.5),this paper builds a"Intermediary Corpus of "Informal Talks"(Season 6.5).Statistical analysis, charts and other methods were used to count and analyze the number and proportion of lexical errors of Chinese learners in the program. The 391 cases of lexical errors in the corpus were divided into four types: misaddition, misnomeration, omission and misorder. Then the four types of lexical errors are specifically subdivided according to the part of speech, and nine part-of-speech errors are obtained: nouns, verbs, adjectives, quantifiers, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions and auxiliary verbs.Based on the case analysis of each category of errors,it is concluded that the negative transfer of mother tongue, excessive generalization of target language knowledge, and the influence of communicative strategies are the main reasons for the lexical errors of Chinese learners in "Informal Talks".Finally, corresponding suggestions are put forward for the "teaching" of teachers and the "learning" of students according to the reasons of errors. It is expected that this study will be helpful to the teaching and learning of vocabulary in Chinese as a second language. |
