The Cultivation Mode Of Top-notch Innovative Foreign Language Talents

Since the term "top-notch innovative talents" was put forward,the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents has become a topic of concern in the society.Cultivating a number of top-notch innovative talents has become the most urgent task of our society.Under the policy circumstances of "double first class" and "new liberal arts",the cultivation of foreign language talents is getting a hit subject in foreign language academic circles.There is less discussion about gifted students in foreign language majors.Therefore,this paper focuses on the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents in foreign language majors.This study takes the Honor college of of Shanghai XX University as the research object,and mainly discusses the following three research issues.1.What is the current situation of the top-notch innovative foreign language talent cultivation? 2.What are the influential factors of the top-notch innovative foreign language talent cultivation mode? 3.How to build a top-notch and innovative foreign language talent cultivation model?At the beginning of the thesis,the policy background,significance and relevant reviews on the top innovative foreign language talents cultivation mode at home and abroad are introduced.On the basis of the core concepts of top innovative talents and talent cultivation mode,combined with needs analysis theory and language acquisition management theory,this paper analyzes the elements of the top innovative foreign language talent cultivation mode,and compiles a questionnaire based on the five elements of training mode: the training objectives,training objects,training contents,training conditions and training method.This paper analyzes the current situation and influential factors of the top-notch innovative foreign language talent cultivation mode.The research finds that the current situation of the top-notch innovative foreign language talent cultivation mode is generally good,but there are still problems such as insufficient diversity of talent selection mechanism,curriculum integration insufficiency,huge impact of the epidemic on international courses,and insufficient implementation of the tutor system.In addition,it is found that students’ gender,class and major will not have significant differences on the cultivation mode,while grade factors will have significant differences on the training objectives and training conditions.The influencing factors are divided into macro,meso and micro levels for discussion.Based on the analysis of the above-mentioned situation and influencing factors,combined with the requirements of the foreign language academia on the cultivation literature,the path of the top-notch and innovative foreign language cultivation mode is constructed.It is pointed out that we should base ourselves on China and face the future to build the training objectives with knowledge,ability and quality as the structure.We should pay attention to deepening the reform of the enrollment system and mechanism,eliminate the requirement of selecting papers based on achievements,provide special education for students with special skills,and consider individual initiative in the selection mechanism.We should put the curriculum system in the top design level,lay much emphasis on the sequence of courses,pay attention to practical courses of "problem awareness" and pay attention to interdisciplinary integration.We should establish a team of outstanding teachers and set up special funds.We should implement the tutor responsibility system into the field,constantly enhance the quality of online international courses and seek "Local Internationalization" resources.
