With the development of time and the change of times,today’s middle school students have some psychological problems,especially the junior high school students living in rural areas.Therefore,the psychological problems of rural junior high school students have attracted wide attention,and among the many psychological problems caused by rural junior high school students,many of them are related to the level of self-esteem.Therefore,it can be seen that it is particularly important to pay attention to the self-esteem level of rural junior high school students.Based on this,this study focuses on the impact of self-acceptance on the self-esteem of rural junior high school students and the intermediary role of perceived social support between the two,and achieves the purpose of improving the self-esteem of rural junior high school students through group counseling intervention.This study contains three sub-studies.Among them,the study 1 and 2 selected three junior high schools in Chenzhou by class The 948 subjects completed the,Self-esteem Scale,Perceived Social Support Scale and Self-acceptance Scale to explore the relationship and internal mechanism of self-acceptance and self-esteem.Secondly,the study 3 we selected 72 rural junior high school students with low self-esteem from Study 1 and 2,which were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,and conducted eight 60-90-minute group psychological counseling without intervention to explore whether self-acceptance group counseling could improve self-esteem.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The self-esteem of rural junior high school students is at a low level.(2)The self-acceptance of rural junior high school studentsand significant differences in gender,grade,left-behind students and only child;rural junior high school students have significant differences in the self-esteem in gender,grade and left-behind students;rural junior high school students have significant differences in understanding of perceived social support in grade,left-behind students and only child.(3)Self-acceptance of rural junior high school students,understand the positive correlation between perceived social support and self-esteem,and understand the significant positive correlation between perceived social support and self-acceptance.(4)Understand the intermediary role of perceived social support between self-acceptance and self-esteem of rural junior high school students.(5)Self-acceptance Group counseling can significantly improve the self-acceptance level of rural junior high school students,and then improve the level of self-esteem.In this paper,it enriches the current research on self-esteem,verifies the effectiveness of group psychological intervention in the improvement of self-esteem,and provides a theoretical basis for future research.At the same time,it can give more attention and support to rural junior high school students in practical application,so as to improve the level of self-esteem and make their healthy growth. |
