| With economic globalization,economic exchanges between countries have become increasingly close,which has been particularly obvious since the outbreak of the epidemic.As the first major economy resuming growth,China has broken the Western doubts about the socialist system with Chinese characteristics with its strength.The strong resilience and vitality shown by the Chinese economy are inseparable from its political and economic system.China should pass on the experience of Chinese Governance to other countries.For this translation practice,the author selects Chapter Ⅸ: Socialist Economic Development from The Political Economy of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,written by Zhang Yu from School of Economics of Renmin University of China.The translation of Section Ⅲ to Section Ⅵ mainly introduces new path to Industrialization,Urbanization,Independent Innovation and Agricultural Modernization with Chinese Characteristics.The book is a typical political and economic text with many expressions of Chinese characteristics.Using different translation theories as guidance,scholars both at home and abroad have explored aspects such as vocabulary,terminology,cultural level,and ideology.However,there are few studies on the conversion and expression of logical relations at the sentence level in political and economic texts.And the research on translation of similar texts needs to be further deepened.Therefore,guided by the theory of Back-Transformation Theory,based on the similarity of the deep structure of the Chinese and English languages and the differences in the surface structure,the author hopes to put forward her own views.Based on Nida’s Back-Transformation theory,the author explores the translation methods of political and economic texts.The theory can help the translator analyze the logical structure of long Chinese sentences and the surface structure to understand the deep structure,and can help the translator analyze and understand sentences,especially sentences with no explicit logical words or opaque logical relations.At the same time,according to the differences between Chinese and English languages,the author arranges the core sentences of the decomposed source language on the basis of the expression habits of the target language,and selects the appropriate vocabulary and sentence translation with the five translation techniques including Sequence,Order-changing,Combination,Division and Mixed-type Method. |
