| Situational Teaching Method is a teaching method that uses the target language as teaching language and integrates knowledge and interest.Situational Teaching Method is widely used in language teaching,and it is often used in Chinese language teaching.Based on the characteristics of Situational Teaching Method,this thesis applies the method to the elementary comprehensive Chinese class online with beginner-level students as teaching object,aiming to solve the problems in teaching and improve teaching through practicing.Firstly,this thesis analyses the research on Situational Language Teaching Method and research on the teaching of online elementary Chinese as a second language,then analyses the feasibility of applying the Situational Teaching Method to online elementary comprehensive Chinese class.The results of the analysis were obtained by using the survey method,interview method to analyse the teaching effectiveness of the situational teaching method applied to the online comprehensive Chinese language class.The study found that the Situational Teaching Method was effective in the online elementary comprehensive Chinese class,which could mobilize the classroom atmosphere,stimulate students’ interest,and help them understand and remember the knowledge points.But we also found that there were some problems in the practice of the situational teaching method in online Chinese teaching,such as the limited scenario tend to limit students’ thinking and the interaction between students was still insufficient. |
