As a course of foreign language cultivating integrated abilities of "listening,speaking,reading and writing",the comprehensive Chinese course requires teachers to take into account teaching of pronunciation,vocabulary,grammar,Chinese characters and culture at the same time.This is challenging both for teachers and students.Situational teaching method can improve students' interest in learning,willingness of expressing their ideas and their awareness of using Chinese,so as to contribute to the success of teaching.Based on the theory of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,theory of the situational teaching method and other related theoretical research,with the combination of the teaching practice in Thailand,the author takes lesson 14"Welcome to My Home” in volume 9 in the textbook "Happy to Learn Chinese" as an example,to explore how to apply the situation teaching method to elementary Chinese comprehensive course in Thailand,to design a more suitable plan for elementary Chinese learners' comprehensive course,to improve learners' learning interest and learning effect.The author explains in detail the specific teaching process and evaluation,wither flection and some suggestion in the end,hoping this paper can be significant reference for the application of the situational teaching method to the elementary Chinese comprehensive course.Based on the instructional teaching design theory and methods,this paper makes instructional design for the elementary Chinese comprehensive course in Srisuvit School in Thailand.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part,introduction.This section introduces the background and significance of the topic,the literary review,and the research plan including the objectives,content and methods.The second part is the basic theory of situational teaching method.It introduces the theoretical basis of situational teaching method and its application principles and characteristics.The third part is the feasibility of the application of situational teaching method to elementary Chinese comprehensive course.This section analyzes the Chinese teaching environment,teaching objects and teaching materials of Srisuvit School.The fourth part,teaching design,Including the teaching design of the relevant elements of the analysis,scene creation,teaching process in "Welcome to My Home".The fifth part,teaching evaluation and reflection.After evaluating the teaching design and teaching effect,the author summarizes the teaching experience and gives some suggestions.
