With the continuous improvement of the national education system,the dance major not only brings new opportunities for the development of education,but also brings challenges to the educational management of colleges and universities.Through the investigation,we know that the number of the students majoring in dance is increasing year by year,while the education and management of the undergraduate students majoring in dance is not perfect in ordinary colleges and universities,good education management can not only play a positive role in the learning of students majoring in dance,but also improve the level of education management and the effect of talent training to some extent.At present,the education and management of undergraduate students majoring in dance in colleges and universities are still carried out by the more traditional methods of education and management and psychological cognitive methods,it neglects the group characteristics and individual characteristics of the undergraduate students majoring in dance,which are different from those of the ordinary college students.At present,there are many system and mechanism problems in the education and management of undergraduate students majoring in dance.The management is lack of innovation and timeliness,and it is also lack of effective pertinence and timeliness.In order to better promote the implementation of education and management of students majoring in dance and improve the effect of education and management,this study uses the methods of Literature Research,interview and questionnaire,this paper makes an empirical study on the present situation and existing problems of the education and management of the undergraduate students majoring in dance in general colleges and universities,taking the undergraduate students majoring in dance in a university in Gansu province as the research object,from the following four aspects: the status of the undergraduate students majoring in dance identifying with the educational management work in general colleges and universities,the present situation of the educational management work in general colleges and universities,the way and content of the educational management work in general colleges and universities,and the methods of the educational management work in general colleges and universities,to study the educational management strategy of undergraduate students majoring in dance in general colleges and universities.According to the research,the following problems exist in the management of dance education in colleges and universities: 1.Lack of diversity in the approaches and contents of educational administration.2.Less innovative approaches to educational management 3.The role of guiding students to play subjective initiative in the process of education management is not sufficient.4.It is difficult to fully meet the individual needs of students in the process of education management.5.Teachers’ cognition of flexible education management is not perfect.In view of the existing problems,taking“Humanistic management concept” as the starting point,from three aspects: renewing the educational management idea,improving the ways and contents of educational management,improving the ability of educational management team,and strengthening the actual effect of ideological and political education,we should attach importance to the education and management of dance undergraduates in colleges and universities,renew the idea of students’ education and management,and improve the system of education and management.
