| On the one hand, daily life is more convenient because of the existence of the Internet,on the other hand, teenagers can not reasonably use the Internet will affect the smooth development of teenagers, leading to teenagers addicted to online games. This study investigated the relationships among stressful life events, maladaptive cognition, online game addiction and intentional self-regulation.According to the cognitive behavioral model of Internet use, stressful life events were taken as independent variable, online game addiction as dependent variable,non-adaptive cognition as mediating variable, and intentional self-regulation as moderating variable to explore the internal mechanism of online game addiction. In this study, the junior high school students were investigated by questionnaire survey using "(Adolescent Self-Rating Life Events Check-list","Online Game Addiction Scale","Non-adaptive Cognition Scale" and "Intentionality Self-Regulation Scale".835 valid questionnaires were received.Descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, mediation analysis, moderating analysis and test were conducted by using SPSS 26.0 and Process, and the relationships among the four variables of stressful life events, online game addiction,non-adaptive cognition and intentional self-regulation were obtained. The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in the online game addiction of junior middle school students in school, place of origin and grade, but there are no significant differences in gender, only child or marital status of parents.(2)There were significant correlations among stressful life events, maladaptive cognition, intentional self-regulation and online game addiction among junior high school students.Stressful life events were positively correlated with maladaptive cognition and online game addiction, while intentional self-regulation was negatively correlated with online game addiction.(3)Maladaptive cognition played a partial mediating role between stressful life events and online game addiction.Stressful life events had a positive prediction effect on maladaptive cognition and online game addiction, while maladaptive cognition had a positive prediction effect on online game addiction.(4)Intentional self-regulation moderated the mediating effect between stressful life events and online game addiction, and intentional self-regulation moderated the latter half of the ending process. In other words, the higher the level of intentionality self-regulation,the less the influence of non-adaptive cognition on online game addiction.(5)Stressful life events, maladaptive cognition, intentional self-regulation and online game addiction constitute a moderated mediation model.Cognitive-behavioral model of this research from the Internet, can prove that stressful life events positively predict online game addiction, verified the adaptability of cognitive in stressful life events and intermediary role between online game addiction, and self-regulation of intentionality in the adaptive adjustment between cognitive and online game addiction. |
