Resilience is a psychologist hot research field, and it reflects the individual adapt well to the healthy growth of the process under pressure, the impact of negative events. Research at home and abroad and more focused on college students who, therefore, this study will be junior school students as the research object, further understanding of the situation of junior school students’mental toughness. In this study, adolescent mental toughness scale Yueqin Hu(2008) prepared as a tool for the preliminary measurement of the junior school students the basic situation of mental toughness. In addition, high school students with Jisheng Wang (1997) prepared by the Mental Health Scale and Ming Di (2004) prepared a stressful life events scale as the object of study, students from four secondary schools in Tianjin, more in-depth discusses the junior school students resilience, stressful events and mental health. The survey data is processed using SPSS11.5correlation analysis, analysis of variance and regression analysis. The main findings are as follows:(1) from the overall level of junior school level of resilience, but there is still a certain percentage of junior school students a lower level of resilience, huge points difference of the high and low points.(2) demographic aspects, the resilience of different junior school students in two dimensions exist significant differences, in particular: the dimension of family support, significantly better than girls in middle school male junior chool students; dimensions of emotional control, one-child significantly better than non-only child, did not show a significant difference in the other dimension.(3) mental health, stressful life events, and mental health of the three closely related. Stressful life events and resilience was a significant negative correlation; stressful life events was significantly positively related to mental health; resilience and mental health was a significant negative correlation.(4) have some impact on the role of stressful life events and mental health, resilience in the relationship between stressful life events and mental health, resilience has played the part of the intermediary role.
