Targeted Poverty Alleviation From The Perspective Of Marx And Engels’ "Two Kinds Of Production" Theory

Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has implemented the strategy of " targeted poverty alleviation ",the work of tackling poverty alleviation continues to advance,and its achievements have attracted worldwide attention.In the last year before the realization of the goal of comprehensive poverty alleviation,targeted poverty alleviation has entered a crucial period,which puts forward higher requirements for targeted poverty alleviation.In order to ensure that "the rural poor population can be lifted out of poverty by 2020 under the current standards in China",in the final stage of the struggle,the endogenous development impetus of the poor areas and the poor population should be stimulated,and the endogenous development of the poor areas should be realized,which is absolutely essential.The two kinds of production theory of Marx and Engels points out a clear path for China’s targeted poverty alleviation work.According to the two kinds of production theory,the production of material materials and the production of human beings together constitute the social production,which promotes the development of the entire social history from its roots.Marxist historical materialism also holds that the fundamental reason for the development of social history lies in the internal contradictions and laws of the society,that is,the contradiction between productivity and production relations and the contradiction between economic foundation and superstructure.Therefore,it is necessary to combine the production of material materials with the production of human beings to promote the development of productive forces and ultimately the development of the entire society.This historical rule also applies to China’s targeted poverty alleviation work.To achieve development in a region,it is fundamental to realize its own development,that is,to mobilize its internal development impetus.To mobilize the endogenous driving force for the development of poverty-stricken areas,we must combine the production of material information with the development of people themselves,that is,combine the development of industries with the improvement of population quality.Therefore,the fundamental path of targeted poverty alleviation is to combine industrial poverty alleviation and cultural poverty alleviation to stimulate the endogenous driving force for the development of poor areas.The research selects a typical poor county,Yudu County,as a case study,adopts literature analysis and field survey research methods,and focuses on the industrial and cultural poverty alleviation under the guidance of Marx and Engels’ two kinds of production theory.The research aims to propose strategies to promote targeted poverty alleviation through investigation,analysis,and exploration of industrial and cultural poverty alleviation in Yudu County,to provide policy advice for implementing poverty alleviation strategies,and to promote real poverty alleviation and permanent poverty alleviation in poor areas and the poor.
