The Research Of Semantic Evolution Of The Hate Psychological Verbs “Hen”“Yuan”“Xian”and “Guai”

"Hen" "yuan" "xian" and "guai" are commonly used words in psychological activity verbs to express feelings of resentment.This article mainly conducts a diachronic investigation of these four words based on the corpus from the CCL corpus,analyzes their semantic sources and the process of semantic evolution,summarizes their respective semantic evolution tracks and common evolution rules,and analyzes their evolution motivations.The research results are applied to international Chinese language education to improve the efficiency of second language learners’ vocabulary learning.This article is divided into three parts: introduction,text,and conclusion.In the introduction section,it mainly explains the source and significance of the topic selection,research status and analysis,research objects and methods.The text consists of six parts: Chapter 1 examines the semantic evolution of "hen" and finds that the "hen" meaning of "yuan hen" always occupies the dominant semantic position,with fewer "yi han" meanings,while the "hui hen" meaning gradually differentiates into "hui" to bear;Chapter 2 examines the semantic evolution of "yuan" and finds that in the early stage,the meaning of "yuan hen" occupied an absolute advantage,while in the Ming and Qing dynasties,the meaning of "man yuan" began to rise sharply until it surpassed the meaning of "yuan hen";Chapter 3 examines the semantic evolution of "xian".The original meaning of " xian" is "cai xian",but the meaning of "cai xian" later divided into "cai",and the main meaning of "xian" became "xian qi";Chapter 4examines the semantic evolution of "guai".The original meaning of "guai" is the "qi guai" meaning of the adjective,and extends the "qi guai" meaning and "ze guai" meaning of the verb.Moreover,both the "qi guai" meaning and the "ze guai" meaning have subsequently undergone a certain degree of notional grammaticalization;Chapter5 analyzes the laws and motivations of semantic evolution.First,the laws of semantic expansion and transfer.Secondly,these four words can lead to counter expected events.Thirdly,they have undergone changes from psychological verbs to verbal verbs.The causes of these changes can be divided into internal and external factors.Internal factors are internal metaphors and metonymies in language,while external factors are social,economic,and cultural developments,Inevitably has a broad and profound impact on language;Chapter 6 is a study of "hen" "yuan" "xian" and "guai" in international Chinese language education,analyzing their biased corpus,and combining them with targeted teaching suggestions.The conclusion summarizes the issues discussed in this article.The thesis takes the diachronic semantic evolution of "hen" "yuan" "xian" and "guai" as the main clue,and combines the corpus of different periods to summarize and analyze the specific evolution rules and motivations,thereby providing reference and suggestions for vocabulary teaching in international Chinese language education.
