With the improvement of China’s international status,it is an important mission of Chinese language education to show the world the real and threedimensional China.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China also pointed out that it is very urgent to present a credible,lovely and respectable image of China to the international community.As an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,textbooks play an important task of shaping a positive national image,and in order to present a good image of China to the people of the world,this article mainly discusses the issues related to the preparation of textbooks on national conditions.The first part is the introduction part,including the research background and significance of this paper,briefly explaining the research object,content and method of this paper,evaluating the feasibility and innovation of this paper,and summarizing the relevant research on national image at home and abroad.The second part takes Ning Jiming’s "A Survey of China(2)" as an example,and analyzes the basic overview of the textbook from multiple aspects such as introduction,concept,content,theme,and basic elements.The third part focuses on the analysis of China’s image in the five dimensions of politics,economy,culture,society and geography in the "A Survey of China(2)",and also analyzes the framework of international relations in the textbook,which is specifically manifested in the four dimensions of "receiving influence","the world’s best","influencing the world" and "equal exchange".The fourth part analyzes the problems in the construction of national image in national conditions textbooks from the perspective of telling Chinese stories and disseminating Chinese voices,and puts forward relevant suggestions on content selection,writing principles,text discourse,and basic elements of teaching materials.Based on the connotation of "national image",this chapter relies on the "Reference Framework for Teaching Chinese Culture and National Conditions for International Chinese Education" and the new "Grade Standards",and compiles a lesson content to reflect China’s contemporary scientific and technological innovation through the thinking of the preparation of national conditions teaching materials,and show the world "China of science and technology" and "China of innovation".
