Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Ideological And Political Construction Of Business English Major

Under the guidance of the basic theory of Marxism,curriculum ideological and political is an educational idea with the fundamental purpose of cultivating morality and educating people by fully exploring the ideological and political elements of various professional courses and effectively integrating the ideological and political content into all links and aspects of various professional courses to form a synergistic effect.Business English major is one of undergraduate majors in common universities.Now,many universities have set up Business English majors in our country,and tens of thousands of Business English talents are trained every year.Promoting ideological and political construction of Business English major courses is of great practical significance for Business English major to fully implement the goal of cultivating virtues and talents in education and teaching,to integrate ideological and political elements into the whole process of Business English major education and teaching,and to cultivate international compound talents with a political perspective.Therefore,it is necessary to grasp the current situation of ideological and political construction of Business English major courses in colleges and universities,discover the main problems,analyze the causes of these problems,and put forward effective countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of construction.First of all,this paper makes a theoretical review of the ideological and political construction of Business English major.On the one hand,taking the ideological and political construction of the course as the logical starting point,this paper discusses the connotation and characteristics of the ideological and political construction of the course of Business English major.On the other hand,from the theory of all-round human development,General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important exposition on curriculum ideology and politics,cooperative education theory,and recessive ideological and political education theory to find theoretical support for the article,and consolidate the theoretical foundation.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview are used to explore the current situation of promoting the ideological and political construction of Business English major in colleges and universities in Hubei.The investigation focuses on the five elements of construction objective,construction content,construction method,construction environment and construction effect,and analyzes the existing problems and causes in promoting the ideological and political construction of Business English major in colleges and universities in Hubei province,and interviews Business English teachers at the teaching line to discuss relevant countermeasures.The investigation results show that in the process of promoting the ideological and political construction of Business English major in colleges and universities in Hubei,there are some problems such as insufficient scientific and clear educational goals,inadequate construction content,non-pluralistic construction methods and loose construction environment.Finally,in view of these problems,the following measures should be taken to optimize the ideological and political construction of business English major courses: Under the educational concept of moral cultivation,establish scientific and clear construction objectives;By enhancing the awareness and ability of construction,exploring the elements of construction and dialectically treating the conflict,promote the improvement of teachers’ construction ability.With the optimization and innovation of classroom teaching methods and practical teaching methods as the focus,further optimize the construction method;Guide students to cultivate and practice core values and enhance construction consciousness;To attach importance to the construction work,improve the construction system,form a multidimensional evaluation mechanism,and create a strong atmosphere of the construction environment.
