For a long time,ideological education for students in colleges and universities has been regarded as the duty of ideological and political educators,while professional courses are of little concern.Curriculum ideological and political education aims to implement the concept of curriculum education in all courses,excavate the ideological and political resources contained in the curriculum itself,give full play to the potential of moral education in various courses,and form a joint force of ideological and political education.As a humanities discipline,the English education major has both the humanity of English and the educational nature of normal education.The construction of curriculum ideological and political education is particularly necessary,which is not only conducive to promoting the connotative development of the discipline,but also helps to form a great ideological and political pattern of collaborative education.First of all,the thesis studies the relevant theories of ideological and political construction of English education professional courses,and consolidates the theoretical basis of the paper.This thesis not only makes a more in-depth theoretical study on General Secretary Xi Jinping important exposition on curriculum ideological and political education,implicit ideological and political education theory,Marx ’s theory of all-round development of human beings;taking the connotation of curriculum ideological and political education as the logical starting point,this thesis discusses the connotation of ideological and political education,the connotation of ideological and political education in English normal majors,and the necessity of ideological and political education in English education majors.Secondly,through the questionnaire and interview to make clear the current situation of Curriculum Ideology and Politics construction in English Education Major.The survey shows that the curriculum ideological and political construction of English education majors has achieved good results,mainly reflected in the following aspects : first,it has cultivated students ’ correct value orientation of cross-cultural communication;the second is to improve the students ’ thinking ability of rational analysis.The third is to enhance the ability of teachers to integrate professional knowledge to understand the way of being a human being;fourth,it enhances the educational value of English normal majors.The existing problems are mainly manifested in : First,the teaching concept emphasizes knowledge transfer and neglects curriculum education;second,the teaching goal is to improve language skills and less literacy;third,the content of the textbook is more Western elements and fresh Chinese local color;fourth,the teaching method is more rigid combination of less organic integration.The reasons are mainly reflected in three aspects : first,professional teachers ’ cognitive positioning of ideological and political concepts is not clear;second,the professional teachers ’ curriculum ideological and political ability is still lacking;third,colleges and universities failed to create a good external security atmosphere.Finally,the following countermeasures are put forward to improve the ideological and political construction effect of English education major in colleges and universities : first,strengthen the ideological and political concept recognition of professional course teachers,promote them to change their teaching concepts,and pay attention to positive cultural guidance in teaching;second,optimize the teaching objectives,clarify the orientation of education,and pay attention to the cultivation of core literacy of the discipline;third,improve the content of textbooks,carefully select articles,appropriately add Chinese characteristics,and enhance local cultural perception;fourth,improve teaching methods,flexibly select teaching methods according to the type of curriculum,and promote the innovation of teaching methods with the help of modern media;the fifth is to create a collaborative education environment,focus on building an external incentive environment guaranteed by the school,fully mobilize the ideological and political enthusiasm of the education subject,create a good classroom education atmosphere,and achieve a silent education effect. |
