| As an indispensable part of Chinese language,idioms have penetrated into the production and life of the masses in China,and occupy an important position in international Chinese education and teaching.Therefore,the mastery and use of idioms is also one of the standards to measure the level of Chinese as a second language learner.Based on the Volume 1-4 of New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook(Russian Annotated Edition)published by Beijing Language and Culture University in 2006 and edited by Liu Xun as the research object,this thesis not only reviews and summarizes the previous research results of scholars,but also focuses on the vocabulary of idioms in the textbook.And then,it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of idioms in interpretation and translation in Russian with laying emphasis on the inappropriate and inaccurate interpretation and translation in the textbook,so as to explore the causes of interpretation and translation errors as well as the suggestions of further improvement.This paper aims at optimizing the interpretation and translation of the textbook in Russian and Chinese through this research and promoting the development of international Chinese education,which can achieve the purpose of spreading Chinese culture more accurately and clearly.The Chapter I is Introduction,including the research status,research objects,research methods and research significance.The Chapter II is Idioms in New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook.In this chapter,the concept of idioms will be defined and categories and characteristics of idioms will be summarized,as well as sorting out the number of idioms in Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education.Finally,analyze the similarities and differences between them,in comparison with the idioms in New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook.The Chapter III is A Study on the Interpretation and Translation of Russian Idioms in New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook.It divides the interpretation and translation of idioms in New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook into two categories: Correct interpretation and incorrect interpretation.Next,it focuses on the analysis of 37 incorrect interpretation and translation of idioms,explores the reasons for incorrect interpretation and translation,and then puts forward suggestions for improvement in the accompanying notes.The Chapter IV is On the Interpretation and Translation of New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook and Suggestions for Improvement,which summarizes the problems in the interpretation and translation of New Practical Chinese Reader Textbook,and puts forward some suggestions for improvement in the compilation of international Chinese education textbooks. |
