Philosophy has always given important attention to people, and philosophers of different times have made different interpretations of people.Marx also attached great importance to the study of human beings, but unlike previous philosophers,Marx opened up a new path.He initially put forward the idea of "realistic individual" in "German Ideology" to save individuals from the abstract speculative world.Undoubtedly,"realistic individual" is not only an indispensable part of Marx’s human theory, but also an important part of historical materialism. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the thought of "realistic individual" in "German Ideology",sort out its development context, and clarify its connotation and characteristics. This article includes four chapters, excluding the introduction. The first chapter discusses the theoretical basis of the formation of "realistic individual" in "German Ideology".On the one hand, the study and discussion of human beings in the western philosophical tradition provided rich ideological resources for the emergence of Marx’s "realistic individual" thought. On the other hand,Marx’s investigation and study of human beings in the four articles "Doctoral Thesis","Rhine","German and French Yearbook" and "Economic and Philosophical Manuscript of 1844" laid a solid theoretical foundation for the final formation of the "realistic individual" thought. The second chapter elaborates the basic concept and characteristics of "realistic individual" in "German Ideology".In the process of negatively criticizing Hegel’s "absolute spiritual individual",Powell’s "self-conscious individual",Feuerbach’s "perceptual natural person" and Steiner’s "only individual",Marx put forward the basic connotation of "realistic individual" positively, and elaborated the four basic characteristics of "realistic individual",namely, concreteness, sociality, historicity and development, this enriched and enriched the concept of "realistic individual".The third chapter combs the existing form of "realistic individual" in "German Ideology"."Natural individual","accidental individual" and "individual with personality" are three specific forms of existence of "real individual".Analyzing and comparing the three forms of existence of "real individual" will help us to grasp the idea of "real individual" more systematically and comprehensively. The fourth chapter studies the theoretical and practical significance of "realistic individual" in "German Ideology".From the theoretical point of view, starting from the "real individual",he first criticized the "abstract individual",and realized the transformation of human thought;Secondly,it established the premise of historical materialism and realized the transformation of historical view; Finally,it will help guide us out of the misunderstanding of historical materialism and deepen our understanding of the content of historical materialism. From the perspective of practical significance,"real individuals" are first conducive to solving the ecological crisis, improving the natural environment, and promoting the harmonious coexistence of human and nature;Secondly,it is conducive to solving the social crisis, correctly handling the relationship between people and society, and promoting the harmony and mutual prosperity of people and society; Finally,it is conducive to solving the personal development crisis, accelerating the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and realizing the free and comprehensive development of human beings.
