Guangdong Writing Of Modern Lingnan Newspaper And Novels

Modern Lingnan region as the intersection of Chinese and Western cultures,the newspaper industry is more developed,newspapers and novels have also been widely developed and spread.Influenced by many factors,such as the identity of local writers and local readers,Lingnan newspaper novels show Guangdong writing with regional characteristics.From the point of view of attaching equal importance to time and space,this paper makes an overall study on the rise,time and space characteristics,theme types and language style of Guangdong writing in modern Lingnan newspaper novels.The full text includes the introduction,the text,the conclusion and the appendix four parts,the text consists of five chapters.The introduction explains the reasons for choosing the topic,defines the research object,summarizes the current research situation and expounds the research methods.The first chapter examines the rise and geographical distribution of modern Lingnan newspaper novels in Guangdong from a multi-perspective,and finds that a group of revolutionary journalists centered on Zheng Guan Gong,Huang Shizhong,Huang Boyao,Wang axe and so on.And the publishers centered on Guangzhou Shufang Street,Xiguan newspaper Street and Hong Kong Central.This paper examines the geographical distribution of readers of modern Lingnan newspapers and novels,which shows the development trend of "serving the mainland and facing the world".The second chapter makes a three-dimensional study of the geographical space of Guangdong in Lingnan newspaper novels,focusing on the presentation of geographical space such as reality and non-reality.First,the analysis of the real space constitutes the spatial pattern of "mountain-city-water" trinity.Second,it analyzes the expressive effect of the novel connecting reality and non-reality through dreams and illusions.Thirdly,it examines the character flow of the novelist in the regional arrangement and shows the spatial narrative function of the novel.The third chapter examines the theme types of geography and Lingnan newspaper novels in multiple dimensions,reflects social and economic problems by summing up social bad habits such as opium,gambling and fraud,and exposes the whole picture of corruption and shady scenes of Lingnan officials.it highlights the novelist’s creative tendency to pay attention to "enlightening the wisdom of the people" and paying attention to the current situation.The fourth chapter examines the narrative language style of Lingnan newspaper novels in many ways.Investigating a group of Cantonese writing models based on newspapers and periodicals such as Guangdong vernacular Daily and Lingnan vernacular Magazine,it is found that running Cantonese newspapers and periodicals and writing Cantonese novels have become the trend of the times in Lingnan.Then through the Cantonese works with the characteristics of Lingnan,Pearl River and Xiguan,it comes down to the regional characteristics of newspapers and novels using Cantonese vocabulary,writing Cantonese affairs and expressing Cantonese customs.The fifth chapter summarizes the influence and overall evaluation of modern Lingnan newspaper novels.The arrangement of time and space in cognitive novels is shown as "the temporalization of space" and "the spatialization of time".Through the "territory restoration" of the outer layer and the "spiritual exploration" of the inner layer,as well as the relationship between the novel and other newspapers,we explore the value of Lingnan newspaper novels.Finally,the paper analyzes the shortcomings of Lingnan newspaper novels in the space problem.
