As a famous literary theorist in Ming Dynasty,Tang Shunzhi was an important advocate of Tang and Song school literary thought.Tang Shunzhi’s literary opinion is not only the most powerful representative of Tang and Song school literary thought,but also has a positive effect on the development of later literary thought.As for Tang Shunzhi’s theory of ancient prose,this paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter discusses the theoretical background of Tang Shunzhi’s theory of ancient writing,which is divided into three parts.The first part discusses Tang Shunzhi’s inheritance of Han Yu,Liu Zongyuan,Ouyang Xiu,Su Shi and other literary theories,which is embodied in the inheritance of the concept of the "Wen Yi Ming Dao" and "Integration of Wen and Dao".The second part of the active understanding of Wang Yangming’s thoughts.The second chapter analyzes Tang Shunzhi’s main literary thoughts,which are mainly manifested in three aspects:the theory of "Wen-Fa",the theory of "Ben-Se",the theory of "De-Yi".One of the sources of Tang Shunzhi’s theory of ancient writing is the view of the clear way of writing,and the other is Wang Yangming’s theory of mind.From the perspective of logical relations,the theory of "Wen-Fa" belongs to the category of writing,the theory of "Ben-Se" belongs to the category of Tao,the theory of "De-Yi" is the concrete display of the harmony and unity of "Wen" and "Dao",and the theory of "De-Yi" is the integration of the theory of "Wen-Fa" and the theory of "Ben-Se".The third chapter analyzes the similarities and differences between Tang Shunzhi and other core members of the Tang and Song School.The first part discusses Tang Shunzhi’s inheritance and innovation of Wang Shenzhong’s literary theory,and Tang Shunzhi inherits the thought of "literature to make the Tao clear",but emphasizes that "Wen" and "Tao" are not integrated.The second part discusses Mao Kun’s acceptance and understanding of Tang Shunzhi’s literary theory.Mao Kun deepened his understanding of emotion based on Tang Shunzhi’s theory of "Ben-Se".The third part discusses the coincidence of Tang Shunzhi and Gui-Youguang’s thought,focusing on the inner experience of the creative subject on the basis of writing and understanding.The fourth chapter summarizes the influence of Tang Shunzhi’s ancient literary theory on the later generations,which is expanded from two parts.The first part is the criticism of the later seven scholars on Tang Shunzhi’s literary theory,with Wang Shizhen as the main representative.The second part discusses that Tang Shunzhi’s ancient literary theory is the foundation for the development of the later spirit literature.Tang Shunzhi’s ancient literary theory provided an ideological source for Xu Wei and Tang Xianzu’s literary creation,and injected fresh vitality into later literary creation. |
