Investigation And Research On The Inheritance And Promotion Of Ancient Qin Art In Shanx

One of the classical musical instruments having a lengthy history in China is the guqin.It is not only an important tool for the Chinese literati to cultivate their moral character,but also a symbol of their perfect personality,additionally,it exudes the national spirit and temperament of China.Its influence is so far-reaching that it is cherished by the world.The history of the guqin in Shanxi is relatively late,and there is a clear historical record that Mr.Gu Zhuoqun was invited by Yan Xishan,the governor of Shanxi,to teach the beginning of the guqin in Jin in 1919,thus bringing the concept of "introduction" to the art of guqin.Chairman Mao Zedong penned an inscription in 1951 to promote the growth of traditional culture: "A hundred flowers bloom,pushing out new ideas".Under the leadership of the Party and the government,the traditional art of guqin has once again regained its light.The scope of this study is to examine the current development of the guqin art in Shanxi from 1919,when Mr.Gu Zhuoqun led a group of qin masters into Jin to spread the culture of guqin,to the present day,and to suggest plans to advance the growth of guqin art in Shanxi.Four chapters make up the article,the first of which discusses the study’s history,significance,related research findings,and research methodology,using the multidisciplinary approach to understand the existing problems of the development of the guqin in Shanxi;the second chapter uses documentary analysis to firstly sort out the historical development of the Chinese guqin,followed by the "budding period","exploratory period" and "development period".Chapter 3 analyzes the development of the guqin art in Shanxi region by interview and case study method.Chapter 4 focuses on the promotion of the guqin art in Shanxi,and presents the problems and explores reasonable solutions,taking into account the existing promotion methods and the shortcomings.It is hoped that the research presented in this study would help Shanxi foster the growth of guqin music.
