Research On Teaching And Practice Of Guqin Optional Course In Universities

Guqin has been teaching in universities since the 20 th century and has profound significance and influence in the teaching and development of modern Guqin.Mr.Gong Yi has successively learned from 12 musicians,including Zhang Zhengyin,Zhang Ziqian,Gu Meigeng,Liu Jingshao,and carried out a relatively comprehensive inheritance of the tradition of Guqin;Mr.Gong Yi also studied the Guqin major at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music,where he received systematic training in the Western music education system.He was the first generation of Guqin performer trained under the education system of the Conservatory of Music.Mr.Gong Yi accumulated a lot of practical experience in performance,teaching,research,and other aspects during his more than sixty years of studying and contemplating Guqin music.This article extracts the essence from Mr.Gong Yi’s works and discourse,and then conducts a detailed analysis and research on Mr.Gong Yi’s Guqin teaching philosophy.The author analyzed and summarized the "Combination of string and finger "-an analysis of the playing techniques of Guqin;"Integration of fingers and sounds"-training of Guqin playing techniques;"The combination of sound and meaning"-the artistic treatment of Guqin music;"The combination of music and culture "-the cultivation of the humanistic spirit of Guqin music,and the refinement of these four aspects into the ancient Guqin teaching concept of " combining art and skill".Under the guidance of this concept,the author has carried out teaching practice for the optional course of Guqin in universities.
