Study Of Daniel Richter’s Representational Art

This paper mainly studies the paintings of German contemporary artist Daniel Richter in the concrete period,interprets the unique picture effects and themes of Daniel Richter’s paintings,and sorts out and analyzes the language and themes of his works.The first part gives a brief overview of Richter and explains his attitude from abstract to figurative transformation in the background of the artist’s creative era,so as to lead to the theme of this article,namely the painting language of the figurative period.The second part is a detailed analysis and discussion of the painting language of the concrete period from the rich colors,fantastic characters,dramatic composition and the application of science and technology.Richter is an artist who pays attention to history,politics and social current affairs.His painting theme has symbolic significance and deep thoughts,so the third part is to express the metaphor,expression and connotation of Richter’s works,so as to have a more profound understanding of the artist’s own painting and artistic concepts.The fourth part discusses the guidance and influence of Richter’s painting style on my creation.The dreamlike creative effect processing and the theme full of social responsibility in his picture are worth learning and reference by the author.
